1. The service

Easy English Conversation provides online English conversation practice, including listening, speaking practice, testing, creating and sharing conversations, groups, and related learning tools. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, unless you notify us of unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the service.

3. Eligibility and younger learners

You must be able to form a binding agreement under applicable law. Teachers, parents, or guardians who provide access to younger students are responsible for supervising that use and for any consent required.

4. Plans and payments

• Some features are available on a free plan; paid monthly plans unlock higher limits and benefits as described on our Monthly Plan page.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored in full on our servers.
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled according to the options available in the app or Stripe billing portal.
• Switching between paid plans updates your existing subscription. Stripe may prorate charges or credits for the remainder of the billing period.
• Cancelling a paid plan typically ends access at the end of the current billing period, unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation.
• Prices may vary by region and may change; changes for existing subscribers will be communicated as required.

5. Refunds

Fees already paid for a billing period are generally non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused features, or plan changes, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing after you contact support@easyenglish.dev. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us promptly so we can review it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Harass others or upload illegal or offensive content
• Attempt to break security, scrape, or overload the service
• Reverse engineer or copy the platform except as allowed by law
• Share paid account access in a way that circumvents plan limits
• Misuse AI, speech, or API features beyond normal learning use

7. User content

You may create conversations, scripts, images, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service (including sharing within groups you choose).

You confirm you have the rights to submit User Content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

8. AI and learning tools

Parts of the service use automated and AI-assisted features (for example conversation generation, translation, or speech assessment). Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. The service is a practice tool and is not a substitute for professional teaching, certification, or advice. You are responsible for how you use generated content.

9. Our intellectual property

The website, branding, software, built-in lessons, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only to access the service as permitted under these Terms. You may not resell or redistribute the platform or its content as a competing product.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice when reasonably needed for maintenance, security, or product changes.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that are not required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD 50, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and cancel paid plans as described in the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) will continue after termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
